OHTSUKA CO., LTD
is the
parent company of O-Flex Group, Inc. Founded in 1921, this family owned
Japanese company manufactures and distributes in the automotive, industrial and medical markets. In addition to facilities in Japan, China and USA,
also a technical and
marketing agreement exists with NOVELIS, formerly ALCAN AG, Germany.
- 1996 O-Flex was
created in Murfreesboro, TN to supply North American markets with
energy absorbing tube.
- 2000 O-Flex
facility was expanded to current size of 40,000 square feet

- 2003 O-Flex was
restructured into O-Flex Group, Automotive, Tube, and REES

O-Flex Automotive, Inc.
is responsible for manufacturing all North American
components of O-Flex Group, Inc.
- January 2005,
O-Flex Automotive opened the sales office in Rochester
Hills, Michigan.
- April 2005,
a second site (57,000 sq ft) was constructed next door to
manufacture steel and aluminum tube components used in air
bag, seat belt, and HVAC hose applications.

August 2005, O-Flex Metal Finishing, Inc was
established with the acquisition of a zinc plating and
E-coat business in Huntsville, Alabama.

April 2005, As part of the worldwide
OHTSUKA organization,
O-Flex Group,
Inc. has marketing and sales responsibility for the United States, Canada & Mexico.

May 2007, O-Flex
Metal Finishing was combined with the acquisition of
Southeastern Anodizing Company (SEACO) in Clanton, Alabama.
